All our teams welcome new player enquiries, so please check our website for who to contact.

Where we play

Old Actonians U7s-U11s Teams train and play home league games at Actonians Sports facility at Boddington Gardens, W3. We use the full size all-weather football pitch there for training. After Easter, in the good weather, we train in Gunnersbury Park with the rest of the older teams.

Coaching

Our head coach is Peter Prickett. Peter has coached for many years and with all age groups and has FA Level 3 certificate.  All our coaches are CRB checked and hold FA coaching qualifications.

Our Philosophy

OAYFC’s primary intention is and always will be to focus on the player’s development and improving the individual.  We aim to create a challenging learning environment for those who choose to play football.

Part-Time Youth Football Coaches Required for 2019/20 Season

We are in need of some new coaches for a number of our teams to start in the new season (2019/20), but sort out now. Our teams range from U7s and U18s. We train on Saturday mornings from 9am to 11am for U7s to U11s and 9:30am to 11:30am for U12s to U18s and we play matches during the season on Sunday mornings. We are in the Harrow League.

You will report to our Head Coach, who will help with your own coaching development. You must have a minimum of a FA Level 1 coaching qualification. This part-time role is paid  and the fees start at £10 per hour. So if you do a training sessions and run a game that is 2hrs + 1.5hrs = 3.5 hours, which gives you £35 for that week at the Level 1 rate.

We are also looking for a more expereinced coach to be a coaching mentor and to fill in for absentee coaches. We endeavour to improve our coaches as well as improve our players.
